I am a creative development executive and award-winning director and writer. I currently work for Beverly Hills-based Starlight Media, the producer-financier company behind major titles such as “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Malignant”. My work at Starlight was recently featured in Deadline Hollywood.

My work as a Development Executive at Starlight has included overseeing, pitching, writing, assigning and reviewing multiple major television and film projects, partnering with A-list producers and directors throughout the industry.

In addition to my development work, I have previously written and directed my own short films, in addition to writing and directing on unscripted feature projects as well as commercials. My short films “Hank” and “Waiting For Frank” received international recognition and won awards at festivals including the prestigious Cannes film festival, the Oscar-qualifying Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, Cleveland International Film Festival, Chicago International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, and more than 30 other festivals. My screenplay “My Chinese Neighbor” was selected as the 2020 New Reality Screenwriting Program Finalist, and also reached Semi-Finalist status at the 2021 Nashville Film Festival and also at the prestigious Austin Film Festival Script Competition. I signed an exclusive distribution deal with streaming media network Revry to offer “Hank” as one of the films available on their platform.
